异常情况及上诉
The Office of 金融援助 has the ability to review you and your family’s unusual circumstances when determining how much financial aid you may be eligible to receive.
There are five different appeal processes:

If the student or your family experienced a recent hardship that 不是 reflected on your FAFSA, such as loss of income or unusually high medical expenses, 你可以填写一份 收入损失 & 医疗吸引力 to account for the change in your family's financial situation.

- serving on active duty in the US Armed Forces

- assigned a legal guardian before the age of 18

如果你之前有过上诉 与pp电子极速糖果合作 批准 for independent status new federal guidelines allow our office to renew that status annually without having to submit a new appeal when you submit a future FAFSA. Your status will be updated once our office has received your 2023-2024 FAFSA.

金融援助 Dependency Status Change Due to Marriage Appeal Process
Students who submitted a FAFSA and were considered dependent, 24岁以下的, and are 结婚了 after submitting a FAFSA, can fill out the dependency status change due to marriage.

金融援助 无被选资格的吸引力 Process
If extenuating circumstances prevented you from meeting financial aid Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements, you may appeal your ineligibility status. If your appeal is 批准, your aid may be reinstated for one semester on “financial aid probation.”
If you are placed on financial aid probation, you will be expected to meet Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements by the end of your financial aid probation semester or successfully follow the academic plan designed specifically for you (as explained below in the appeal process). Failure to meet either of these expectations will result in financial aid ineligibility.

If you are the recipient of a Distinguished Scholar, Presidential or Academic Achievement Scholarship, through 招生 and will be taking a semester off, attending a semester as part-time student or on scholarship ineligibility, 你需要上诉 奖学金.
